Booze Scootin’ Beverage Company is a full service mobile bar catering company in Nashville, Tennessee. Howdy is our 1985 Kingston 2-horse trailer, converted into a bar we tow to weddings, corporate events, and private parties across middle Tennessee.
“Working with Booze Scootin Beverage Company has been a wonderful experience. Their professionalism, creativity, and outstanding customer service make them a valuable partner for any event.”
Weddings & Private Parties
For weddings and private parties, we build the menu with you: signature drinks named for the couple, the classics done right, a beer and wine list that fits the food. Howdy can show up early for photos. The goal is a bar your guests still talk about on Monday.
Corporate Events
For corporate events, we handle office happy hours, product launches, client dinners, and holiday parties. We can build signature cocktails around your brand or product, or run a straight-ahead bar when that's what you need.
Menu Creation
When you're throwing an unstaffed mixer or your intern is pouring the drinks, we can still build a menu with you. Tell us the crowd and the skill level of the staff and you'll get a printed menu, spirits and mixer shopping lists, and prep notes for whoever's pouring.
Classes & Workshops
Book Dan for a private cocktail class. Pick the spirits or style you want to learn and he'll build the recipes, lead the group through them, and get everyone making them without notes by the end. Works for birthdays, team offsite events, and bachelor or bachelorette parties.
Spirits Tastings
Dan runs private spirits tastings. Tell us what you want to explore and we'll send a shopping list. You buy the bottles, and Dan comes to your space to lead the tasting.
Bar Consultation
Dan consults for bars and restaurants on cocktail programs: menu design, staff training, opening a new bar, or refreshing an existing one. The scope depends on the project.

Ramblin' Man
Dan Phillips has bartended for over fifteen years. Before moving to Nashville, he opened and ran a craft cocktail bar in Toledo, Ohio. He has run distillery tours, spirits tastings, and private classes. He's just as comfortable drinking in dive bars as he is menu consulting for high-end cocktail lounges. Dan tends the bar at Booze Scootin' alongside some of Nashville's best bartenders.
FAQs
Do I need to provide my own alcohol?
Yes. Tennessee law says we can't sell you the alcohol, so you buy it and we pour it. We'll send a shopping list once the menu and headcount are set, tell you where to buy it, and let you know how much space you'll need to store it.
Can you work indoors?
Yes. Howdy (the trailer) is best outdoors and only fits indoors when there's clearance to tow it in. Y'all (the portable bar) works inside anywhere the room fits it.
How far in advance should I book?
Most weekends fill up two to three months out, especially in the spring and fall. Book as early as you can and we'll hold the date with a deposit.
Are you licensed and insured?
We're TABC licensed and fully insured. If a venue needs certificates, we'll send them over.
What does the base rate include?
The base rate covers setup and teardown, one bartender for up to 100 guests, and all the bar tools, ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, and napkins. Alcohol is separate. The host provides it. We bill anything past four hours of service as overtime unless we’ve agreed to something else prior to the event.
